  • Our client is a financial intermediary serving a highly controversial industry within the transport sector.
  • The biggest challenge is a generally unfavourable perception of our client in the industry.
  • Additionally, our client was facing calls from regulators and the public sector to facilitate increased collaboration within the industry.
  • We were appointed as Industry Development advisors to support the development of strategy, conceptualisation of projects and/or activities and the oversight of project implementation.
  • The agreed strategic approach required the conceptualisation and implementation of a social-investment programme, that would invest in projects that the various conflicting industry stakeholders agree on. Ensuring that we find points of agreement between the parties (who are usually rivals) – addressing requirement for collaboration.  Our client provided the essential catalytic capital to realise the agreed projects – the associated PR campaign served to shift public perception of the Client.
